Candy Day:
October 13-14, 2017 Your Rockton Lions give out candy for your cash donations-Location to be announced 60% of the funds collected will go to the Lions of Illinois Foundation, the balance will be donated to the Talcott Library. Allison Ebany & Sharon Booker Co-Chairs

Christmas Walk Blood Drive:
The RRVBC Bus will be out front of the Pancake Breakfast December 2, 2017 times TBA.

Pancake Breakfast:
Hosted with the American Legion, and with the generous help of local Boy Scouts, this pancake breakfast helps kick off the Christmas Walk Weekend in Rockton. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the American Legion, Main Street Rockton 6-11am. Jeff Schreck, Chair

Charity Auction benefiting Wimpy's Fund:
Local Merchants and residents donate goods and services that are auctioned off, all funds used go to Wimpy's Fund. Saturday December 2, 2017 at the American Legion, starts 1/2 hour after lighted Christmas parade ends. Jacki Hamilton, Connie Kieffer, Jeanna Woods,  Co-Chairs

Wimpy's Fund:
Every Christmas the Lion's Club delivers food baskets and gifts to local families in need. To donate, or to help in distribution, please contact the Lion's Club. For more information see our Wimpy's Page. Tami Verstraete, Chair

Ro Ro Expo:
March TBA 2018 Get free hearing & Diabetic Retinopathy vision exams on the Lions of Illinois buses and bring your used eye glasses to be recycled. New location, All World, Roscoe IL.  Kevin King, Chair

Lions Club Rose Day:

Roses Delivered April 2018 $18 dozen delivered across the state-line area. Proceeds stay with the Rockton Lions Club. Dick Adams, Chair Purchase Roses Online

Downtown Planting Projects:
Every spring you will see the Rockton Lions out bright an early on a weekend morning clearing out the planters and corner flower beds and planting new flowers for the season. In the fall we clean them up and decorate with Christmas decor. Jamie and Lindsey Swanson, Chairs.

Old Settlers Days:
Our biggest fundraiser of the year every June we take over Settler's park and throw an unforgettable festival for Rockton! June 14, 15, 16 & 17, 2018.  www.oldsettlersdays.com for full details. Steve Pomahac, Chair

Lion's Club Steak Fry:
Every summer we have a private party for Rockton Lions members and their spouses to wrap up the year and swear in our new officers. By invitation only.

Eye Glass Collection:
Year around project, You can find one of our drop off boxes at the following locations: First National Bank-Macktown, Stillman Valley Bank, McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton, Jacks Tire- South Beloit, Rogers Barber Shop, Shirland School, Forest City Therapy, American Legion-Rockton, Walmart-Rockton, Illlinois Central Bus Company, Cyndys Country Cottage-Rockton, Talcott Free Library - Rockton, Cathy Bellich State Farm Insurance - Rockton, Taylor Freezer. We collect your used eye glasses and hearing aids and deliver them to the Center for Sight & Hearing for recycling.  Andy Honkcamp, Chair

Eye Exam Vouchers:
Year around project: In conjunction with Rockton schools, we give vouchers to children who need eye exams and glasses who could otherwise not afford them. Referrals come directly from the school. Karen Martin, Chair

Summer Reading Program:
The Rockton Lions Club sponsors the Dairy Haus ice cream given as an award for school children who reach their summer reading goals with the Talcott Library Summer Reading Program.

Boy Scout Troop 619
The Rockton Lions Club holds the charter for this local boy scout troop and sponsors their Eagle Scouts and yearly supply needs and charter fees. Scott Paccaginini, Chair
