Canine companions doing special project for south central training center region. Asking 100 Lions clubs to become a den sponsor. Motion to increase budgeted donations from 1000 to 1500
Good shop check received for 1138.65 just for shopping online through their browser.
Motion to approve report made by Karen seconded by Karen. Report has been approved.

Leo Club Update – Lion Justin/ Leo Zach

Nine Leo members showed up to help with haunted barn.
Spent funds for more basketball jerseys for Special Olympics teams.
Special Olympics competitions going well basketball and bowling

Bowling first Monday of each month at Viking Lanes

Have become (HHS) Unified Champion School. One of 250 schools in K-College. Writing grants for up to $25K.
Allstate insurance grant for $1000 and club added $300 for special Olympic athlete back packs.
$300 donation from Rookie’s
55 members currently in club.
Fire hydrant painting happened last week.

Preselling tickets would like to have each member at least 10 each
Need people to volunteer all day for 50/50 if interested please let Tami know

Blood drive going on during pancake breakfast 8-11a. Need someone to make calls. Sign-up sheet going around as well.
Need 10 volunteers from Leo club to help with Auction. Kim can get volunteers too.

Wimpy’s Distribution Lion Tami December 17th 9am at APEX on Prairie Hill Rd.

December 8th getting items in. Working 5-8 almost every night. Sign-up sheet will be going around.
Sign-up sheet for drivers will be going around also soon. Lion Brent shared his story on his first year delivering.

Lion Karen and Lion Kim to chair. Lions Marla and Sherri will help also.
Motion to participate made by Lion John, seconded by Lion Jeanna. Motion carried unopposed.

Troop 619 Request from last meeting total amount requested was $3061.00 with additional request of $870 for a total of

$3196/ $2634/ $2455/ $2827/ $2100/ last five years in donations to troop $13212 since March of 2011
Req. for monies keep going up but membership keeps going down.
Lion Steve P spoke on some data research and possible solutions. Discussion ensued.
John motioned to send this to Executive Committee to get it straightened out. Lion Karen seconded. It was asked to have three things come back. What the donation ended up being. What was the resolution of the OSD issue? What is the plan moving forward? Anyone is welcome to attend. Motion carried unopposed.

Kinnikinnick School

School social worker requesting assistance for RMS student hit by car. Gas cards or grocery cards. Dale made motion to donate $100 in gas cards, Karen seconded. Motion carried unopposed.
School social worker requesting assistance for a family that left their home due to abuse. Needs financial support as the family is living in hotels. Mother and four children. Suggestion of alternate options were made also. Lion Jerry made a motion to donate $100 in grocery cards. Lion John P. seconded. Motion passed unopposed.
