Secretary’s Report- Betsy emailed the minutes from the Sept. 16th meeting to everyone. If you are not receiving emails please contact her.

Perspective Members- Jason Niall and Dan Marciniec were in attendance
Requests:
Old Stone Pantry- Don V. led a discussion on how the Old Stone Pantry is doing and how important donations are to help to keep serving all 60 local families. August made a motion to approve $2000.00, Betsy 2nd. Kerri stated that funds should come out of the Segzda account. Motion carried.
Hononegah Wrestling- Justin informed the club about the wrestling program. Motion by Jerry W. to approve $500.00 then amended to $973.00. 2nd by Josh. Motion carried.
South Beloit Lions- Mike Peavy made a motion to give $500.00, Scott 2nd. Motion carried.
Macktown Warriors- Betsy read an email she received from the Macktown Warriors. They thanked the club for the donation, however were confused. They stated a Lions officer approached them during OSD and stated that they would receive an extra donation if they helped take down some tents. Scott stated that because of the club finances we shouldn’t give anymore. The club also agreed that no one member should have authority to promise donations on behalf of the entire club. If they dispute come to a meeting.
Josh gave a summary of Nashville trip.
Paula and Jerry lead a discussion about the Lions Convention.
Mike P. talked about a program for the needy.
Candy Day- Cathy was still looking for volunteers
Nov. 4th Meeting at Minnihans 6-7:15
Kerri discussed Rock County bill. Minimum 15.00 o 30.00 for 2. She stated it is cheaper to shut off and reopen.
Next meeting at Fibs Oct. 21st at FIBS
