President Announcements- 1St VP Lion Jerry Swenson advised that OSD has been officially moved to the second weekend in June effective with 2012 OSD.

Treasurer report approved 1st-Lion Paula Swenson 2nd-Lion kim Peavy
Guest- April Bednarzick- Listened to the history of her best friend Linda who has suffered a lifetime of being in a Wheelchair after a farming accident when she was 4 years old. Linda has been very ill all her life and has endured 70 surgeries. She has now been diagnosed with Terminal Bladder Cancer and has 2 goals she would like to reach before her fight is over. 1. Would like to be able to see an Ocean 2. Would like to pay off her car and turn it over to her 14 year old son upon passing. Family and friends of Linda have been holding multiple fundraisers and Auctions to raise the funds quickly. Motion brought to the table for $500.00 contingent on April setting up an account at a bank for the Charitable Donations 1st-Lion Charolette 2nd-Lion Ron Nelson. Lion Ron Nelson will also donate a tax preparation for Lindas Estate after passing. Lion Denise Darnell also donated a 2 night stay in any hotel in the USA in the form of a certificate. Lion Kim Peavy/ Lion Mike Peavy will contact April with the clubs decision.
Guest-Justin from Hononegah Wrestling- Requested assistance with securing funds for the following items. Varsity Pants from American Bell total of 12 cost of $410.00 ($34.00 each)…Varsity Warm Up Jackets total of 8 total cost of $800.00 ($100.00 each). Wrestling Singlets from G Sports Wrestling total of 10 cost of $800.00 ($80.00 each) motion brought to cover total cost of all 3=$2,010.00 Lion Paula Swenson 2nd-Jack Lovejoy.
In 2012 for OSD the Wrestlers will not hold a Rent a Wrestler event but will continue to assist with the setting up and tearing down of the fencing and anything else they can help with.
Justin advised also if we are in need of help in the beer tent he could reach out to some of the players parents for help selling beer tickets and beer.
Tree Planting Initiative- Lion Kim Peavy and Lion josh Brown are currently working with Tyler at Tylers Nursery to secure trees for planting. Bruce advised the Village has already purchased the tree needed on the corner of Main St. Lion Josh Brown and Lion Kim Peavy will continue to work with Tyler and the village to determine need and cost, including a proposal.
OSD-Beloit Lionesses-Lion Kim Peavy per Lion Steve Pomahawk they have not received the additional payment yet. Per Lion Kerri Wallace she had not sent it out yet but will do so right away.

- Canine Companions received a banner patch and a certificate
- Marilyn Mohring sent in an email request to replace or repaint the signs located on Rockton Road and Route 2. This will be brought up for discussion at the next meeting. Lion Paula Swenson will take pictures so we can review exactly what we are taking about as far as cost, etc.
Old/New Business:
- Food Pantry proposal from last meeting. Motion brought to the table for $5,000.00 to be donated to Don V for the food pantry in Rockton. Motion passed 1st- Lion Jack Lovejoy 2nd- Lion Paula Swenson. Lion Scott Wallace proposed we as a club will circle back in February 2012 with the pantry to review the need as there is the possibility of additional pantries closing in the coming months.
