Business:
Our first guest is Guy DeSerio from the Boy Scout troop 619: Guy is asking for their re-charter fees of $1570.00, they are very well equipped in their gear and aren't in immediate need of anything other than the re-charter fees. Last year we donated over $6000 for their fees and equipment so they aren't looking for any more than that. Motion by Steve, 2nd by Josh to approve the re-charter fees. Motion carried.

Scott Fridly reported their comedy night was a success, they managed to raise $530 towards the fields. He feels that it was a good event, and now that they've done it once they've learned a lot and hopefully can have an even more successful event in the future.

Scott Wallace swore in our newest member, Dian Valentine along with her sponsor, Peggy Hess.

Correspondence:
We received an invitation from the Rockford Memorial Foundation dinner, we may receive an award. It is April 30th (Thursday Night), Josh volunteered to go on the Lion's behalf.

Invitation to the Golden Apple Foundation Banquet for the winners of the recent Golden Apple awards.

Statement from the Community Foundation on our current account balances. It seems we timed our extra deposit right around the low point in the Dow.

Shirland School would like to invite us to a presentation to thank us for our donation towards their Washington DC trip. April 8th, 3:00, room 20, we urge all who can come to make it.

Scott had a request through Crusader Clinic, the Dr and patient are both from Rockton. A local woman needs a retina re-attached, it is the result of domestic abuse. She has a charity donating the funds, but she has to come up with the first $2000, which is what she is asking us for. Motion by Steve P 2nd by Dan, to donate $2000.00 based on Scott's research that she won't be liable for more than that amount and that the surgery has a high % chance of success. Motion carried, Rachel approved.

If you have Sight and Sound tickets, give them to Dan.

Rose Day - Delivery is Saturday from Ferguson Financial. Rockton Liquor will allow us to use their coolers to store extra roses.
