Treasurer report approved 1st-Lion Betsy Dohm 2nd-Lion Steve Pomohawk. Lion Kerri Wallace went over the Christmas Walk weekend revenue, this was also sent out via email to all club members total revenue generated was $7129.00
Old Business
Lions Club Membership Drive - Lion Denise Darnell would like to make up Lions phamplets for our club specifically. The cvlub advised for her to put together a moc up of the phamplet and the estimated costs involved. Also brought up that we should be very very careful when doing this, if the club decides to go ahead since the Lions are invited Membership only. Lion Kim Peavy passed around and provided Lion Denise Darnell with 50 each of the phamplets that Lions International provides for free.
Hononegah Road Signage- Lion Kim Peavy the 4 large Lions club signs have been ordered from Lions International, the 4 smaller signs will be ordered through The Ground Up with club approval on the design. Showed the club the new design and this is approved. Lion Kim Peavy will email Sam back regarding the design approval. Also received an estimate for the installation of all 4 signs in the amount if $152.00 this was passed 1st-Lion Kerri Wallace 2nd-Lion Steve Pomahawk
Lions Annual Christmas Dinner- Lion Kim Peavy advised the menu will be Orange Roughy, Grilled Chicken Breast or Filet Mignon. If the cost is over $25.00 per person the Butterfly Club will contact Lion Kim Peavy
Christmas Walk Update- Silent Auction-Lion Cyndy Fogarty advised they are already beginning to gather items for next year. Lion Kim Peavy will run an article in Feb 2012 regarding the need for items, baskets for the Silent Auction 2012.
***Lion Jack Lovejoy thanked everyone for their help with the pancake breakfast, it was a great turn out this year. Lion Jack Lovejoy advised he will handle this again next year.
*** Lion Andy Honkamp thanked everyone for their help with the raffle that was also a huge success this year.
----Discussion was raised due to the high number of people that were at the Live and Silent Auction very very early we should look at the possibility of allowing people to Reserve a table next year for a fee.
RORO-Lion Kim Peavy presented the club with a breakdown of estimated costs for RORO 2012.
***Tablecloths 90x156 = $17.00 each plus shipping and silk screening =$150.00
***Real flowers to display for Rose Day tickets = $100.00
*** Picture Board = $40.00
*** OSD banner to have badges sewn on- Terry Keene will sew these on. Lin Mike Peavy will take the banner to her
***Prizes for interactive Games = $100.00
Current revolving costs $200.00 (Prizes, flowers)
One time Costs $190.00 (Picture Board, Tablecloths, silk screening)

Wimpys- There are approx 65 families to deliver to. Deliveries will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday the 17th and will continue until all families are delivered to. There is also a $100.00 gift card to be presented to each family, drivers will be required to sign for the giftcard upon accepting the delivery for that family. Deliveries will leave from Ferguson on Main St in Rockton.
Candy Trays for Local Businesses- Lion Kim Peavy was unable to locate a place to purchase the trays on the International website. Per Lion Kerri Wallace she thought Lion Cathy Bellich had extras. Lion Kim/mike Peavy will get with Lion Cathy Bellich to see if she has any extra trays.
Chili Cookoff- Lion Kim Peavy went over some key points from the Chili cookoff meeting this week. 1.Three Sheets will be handling the Bags Tournament 2. Cost per team for Bags is $25.00, Lane sponsorship will be $50.00, cost per Chili cooking team is $35.00 and will have to follow all Health Dept guidelines.
Motion brought to pay for a bags set from Brent Peavy in the amount of $100.00 this bags set will have the Edward Jones/Josh Ryan logo and the Rockton Lions Club logo and will be owned by the Rockton Lions Club for future events. Motion passed 1st- Lion Scott Wallace 2nd-Lion Allison Larson…Lion Kim Peavy will obtain an invoice from Brent Peavy for the cost of the bag set.
OSD-Lion Steve Pomahawk provided an OSD update. 2 bands have currently been booked for Thursday and Friday night.
Circle Of Change- Tabled from last meeting- Lion Kim Peavy advised this company is a non for profit and we did donate to them on 12/18/2010. Motion brought to donate $500.00 1st-Lion Scott Wallace 2nd-Lion Steve Pomohawk
New Business:
Rose Day- Lion Mike Peavy this years Rose Day will be March 2012, we will be receiving the tickets some time next month. Lion Mike Peavy will find out from Lion Dick Adams what area we will deliver to this year. Lion Kim Peavy will find out if all the flowers are obtained from the same vendor as Lion Andy Honkamp advised he could get better quality flowers for a better price possibly.

A. Mitchel Krause Schoolarships- Family and friends have put together a schoolarship account for those kids who go above and beyond for their community. There is a nomination phase for the scholarship. Motion for $1,000.00 donation 1st-Lion Karri Wallace 2nd-Lion Andrew Chavers
B. Rockford Memorial Wishbook-Lion Kim Peavy presented the wish book but there are no prices for each item they are in need of. Lion Kerri Wallace will contact RMH and find out if there is a price list and she will also look up what last years donation was.
C. Beloit Regional Hospice looking for a donation-Motion $1,000.00 1st-Lion Scott Wallace 2nd-Lion Steve Pomohawk
