Motion by Zig and 2nd by Josh to accept the report previously emailed. Motion carried. Presented Paul Cannell with Lifetime Member certificate.

We have distributed just over $11,000 from the athletic field fund. Motion by Betsy 2nd by Dan to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Motion carried, 1 no vote
Introduction of guests: Betsy brought her friends Courtney and Jessi as perspective members. Augie’s wife Mil was present to help with the auction baskets.
Correspondence
*Invitation for one of our members to be a VIP judge at the festival of trees for Christmas Walk on Friday at 8 pm. Frank volunteered.
*Thank you from Penny Cure for our Dare Donation
*Rockton Township Historical Society and Rockton Living History want to republish a historical book on Rockton, looking for donations. Motion by Steve D and 2nd by Paul to donate $100. Motion carried.
*Beloit Regional Hospice donation request, we’ve already given $1000 this year.
*Lions of Illinois Hearing Bus, Scott will look into getting this for Ro/Ro this year
*Lions Calendars, calendars are $25 each, each one is numbered and if your number matches the Illinois Daily Game on M-W-S you get a check in the mail.
Business:
Charlotte gave an update on Wimpy’s, due to economic conditions we have over 50 families to help out. We are concentrating on the Rockton/Roscoe/Shirland/South Beloit area. Greatest need is in SoBeloit.
Please remember to RSVP for the Christmas Party.
Annual Report due for the Lions Club Charities. We need to list officers. Motion by Steve P and 2nd by Steve D to list same as last year.
Scott asked for everyone’s input on the meeting time/place/meals. We will try to move future meetings to 6:30 to be more convenient for the members.

Pancake day, shifts are 7 - 9 and 9 - 11

Chamber needs elves for Christmas walk
Dale gave an update on our member Cassandra who moved to Crystal Lake. She lived with the Athens family for 3 weeks, and now has an apartment.
Steve Dickson suggested that Penny Cure be officer of the Year. She is currently the Dare officer and is up for a national award. Motion by Kerri and 2nd by Zig to approve Penny as Officer of the Year. Motion Carried.
