Old Business:

Rose Day – Dick Adams – tickets are ordered will update when more known.

Ro/Ro – Kerri Wallace – March 15/16 – has ordered the diabetes test kits. They are kits we hand out, and we also take donation and pass out sugar free candy.

OSD – Augie – Kevin Burns is working on details for the 3 on 3 bball tournament, has more to report, and Kevin will be asked to come to the next meeting which is an OSD meeting as well. 7UP also wants to do some sponsorship for the carnival stage.

New Business:

There is a meeting scheduled Thursday March 6th. The President and Secretary are both unable to attend. We want to ask the club if they would prefer to have someone else run the  meeting and take minutes, or if they would rather reschedule. The club agreed to reschedule to the day before March 5th.

Badger Council of Girl Scouts is looking for a donation. The club wants to make sure any money given to the council is used for the local troops. Motion by Josh, 2nd by Bruce to donate $1000 with the stipulation that the money be used for local Rockton troops and would like a representative from the council to appear at a meeting to report how the funds will be used.

We have received Sight and Sound raffle tickets. Cathy is the chair of the event and unable to attend tonight’s meeting. Scott Wallace will drop the tickets off to her at her office.

Steve Pomahac is reporting from a discussion he had with Steve Dickson, The police department would like to get rid of the old air stream trailer they have. They are able to purchase FEMA trailers inexpensively; some are new or hardly used. Wanted the lions club to think about helping defer the costs (this would also be used at lion’s events like OSD)

Bruce – the pool needs a ramp for handicap access. He brought a brochure from Aquatek Ramps. You can walk up it, or wheel down it. The cost online is $6232.00. The club is very interested in helping or buying this, they instructed Scott Wallace to do some price comparisons or call the company and see if the club can get any kind of discount.
