Kerri Wallace was unaware that after the auction the Lions club pays the American Center ½ of the proceeds from the breakfast.

There was a check presented to the Lions club from the Legion with a check for Wimpy's fund, there was a picture in the Herald also. This check has not been received by Kerri Wallace Lions club treasurer.   Charolette advised she will circle back to Paul Cannell to see what happened with this check.

Motion to move the balance in the Segzda account into the fundraising account as it is now costing $8.00 per month to keep the account open. As a whole the club agreed to this. I don't believe this was brought to a vote..

Guest Introduction-Ron Nelson  VP at the Rockton Chamber of Commerce

Kim Peavy presented an OSD ballot form that can be completed online or in person within the Executive committee of the OSD officers.  By using this there will not be a question as to how an officer voted or if they voted.

RORO update-Kathy French-Kathy was not in attendance

Rockton Cares- Kim Peavy requested to move forward with this program without the Rockton Cares form being uploaded into the website. Asked that we all represent the club to our churches and schools, etc or nominate folks that we know of that are in need of our time. Motion passed 1st-Betsy  2ND Jerry Swenson

Kim Peavy discussed the Rockton Lions Club Website and who pays for it.  It was advised that KTI owns the URL we discussed that it may be time for the club to pay for our own URL.  There are multiple ideas regarding the website and what can be done with it like event emails to subscribers, pictures, meeting dates and times being updated.    Ron Nelson (guest) advised of a free URL @ www.officelive.com  motion approved 1ST Betsy 2nd Jerry Swenson

Andrew Chavers discussed Liason at the Chamber office as it appeared another lion member was acting on the behalf of the club as it was presented in the Rockton Herald.  This issue was cleared up by the club member Allison Larson.  We as a club to feel that having a liason at the Chamber would be a good idea but there would have to be set guidelines. Open for discussion still

Kim Peavy presented the idea of recording the meeting via a small tape recorder to assist with the meeting minutes and any discrepancies with the minutes that may come up.  Paula and Jerry Swenson will provide a tape recorder as a trial.  The guideline will be the meeting will be recorder and at the next meeting if everyone has approved the meeting minutes and there are no discrepancies the recording will be deleted during that meeting.  After the minutes have been approved there will be no  questions raised in the future regarding those minutes.  Motion passed 1st-Mike  2nd-Paula Swenson
Opposed member were Kathy Belich, Jack Lovejoy, Zig

Rose Day- Dick Adams asked for an assistant and Mike Peavy has accepted

Old Business-Dale Adams brought to the table the Teachers Dinner and if the Chamber will be continuing with that.  Ron Nelson VP @ The Chamber advised they will for sure be continuing with that tradition there was some miss-communication for the last dinner.
New Business-Dale Adams brought an idea to the table of having a Mud Bog competition at the fields. Some discussion regarding damage to the fields and who would be responsible to pay for the repairs. How much damage would there be.  Kim Peavy asked if Dale could ask the folks that would handle the  tournament if they could come and do a presentation for the club.

Steve P brought up the Fishing Tournament that happened during OSD. It was agreed upon with Luke Buffalo that the weigh in would happen on the OSD grounds. Per Steve P this did not happen. Mike Peavy is a personal friend with Luke and will call him to discuss. Steve P advised if there is not better communication and a weigh in on the OSD grounds then we will not have a tournament next year.
