Mike P. made a motion to approve Zig 2^nd. Motion carried.

August swore in new members Drew, Nancy and Mike.

Scott swore in August as president.

October 28^th Rockton Lions are hosting the Zone 1&2 meeting. It begins at 6:00 at the American Legion. ALL Lions members are welcome and urged to come. Scott recommended ABC catering.

August passed around Thank you notes

Kerri announced that DUES ARE DUE!! Please pay Kerri as soon as possible, $60/person $100/married couples.

Drew discussed the sponsor flyer for the Christmas walk. Scott made a motion to sponsor $500 out of the Segzda fund. John Peterson 2^nd. Motion carried.

Old Settlers Days

Steve gave an overview of OSD and passed around spreadsheet. Club had a discussion about how we can improve this year.

Donations for organizations that helped-

          Scott made a motion to give the Lionesses $1500. 2^nd by Kim P. motion carried

Jerry W. made a motion to approve Josh for $500 for his Nashville Trip. 2^nd by Ann. Motion carried.

Fat Wallet made a donation for the skating rink in OSD park. We are the Administrators of the money. Club agreed that no funds will be paid out until invoices are submitted and approved.

Candy Day will be Friday Oct. 8^th.

Golf play day is next Wed. Jerry offered to help Jack with the door prizes.

Christmas Walk auction needs baskets. If you have any contact or drop them off at Cyndi’s.

Paula and Jerry are going to the Lions convention this month.

Next meeting will be September 16, 2010  6:30 at FIBS.
