July 1st is the parade on State Street in Chicago. 5-hours long- pretty amazing. PCC Paul Lindstrom hiring busses to go to parade. 20 for Plenty tickets handed over.

Four Leos and families helped with Wimpy’s.
Justin was contacted by swimming coach. They have a member of the team who is legally blind now and asked to have Leos help at practice so this student can stay on the team.
Still helping with basketball and bowling for Special Olympics
Grant from American Family insurance allowed Leos to get backpacks for SO athletes

February Reverse Auction Lion Gennie
Slight change in plan for draw down. Original plan was to do an event but with the low amount of people it would bring in it was decided to separate dinner from draw down. Draw down tickets $25 with 1000 tickets being sold. They will be sold during Yeti Fest. Drawing during OSD. Last ticket pulled is grand prize winner. Lion Kerri asked to have info sent to her to put online.
Earmarking funds for projects? ½ to governor’s project and half to Eversight and the other half to the eye scanner district project. Lion Kerri made motion, Lion Karen seconded. Motion carried unopposed.
March event with Sanctuary Spa post-poned Lion Karen-no date scheduled at this point.
Sight and Sound Sweepstakes begins, looking for a chairperson or co-chairperson to help with this.

Rose Day: April 7th and 8th. Must pick up roses at Event Floral by 8am that Friday. Boy Scouts getting a share. Beloit Lions selling our tickets too without getting a share.
Yeti Fest scheduled for Feb 4th. Trish will need Lions Club volunteers 10a-4p. Top three teams get 50% of money voted toward them. Can sell hot chocolate (Leos). Friday late afternoon. Sign-up sheet will be at next meeting.
