Members aren’t here to receive their awards so she will table until next meeting.
Zone Meeting 1-28 at Nunzio’s on North Second Street in Loves Park. 7pm Sharp. It is actually $17 per person for dinner not $15 as previously reported. District Convention April 1-2 in Rockford. State Convention May 21st in Springfield. Glasses sorting party in Sycamore at LIF February 6 8am. Chili’s LIF fundraiser continues through January 30th. Dining in the Dark benefit for CS&H. 3-10-16 $50 per person or a table of 10 for $450

Two meeting’s worth of minutes emailed out to The Club. Motion to approve minutes made by Lion Jeanna and seconded by Lion Doug. Minutes were approved without opposition.
Report passed around. Hope Foundation donation netted The Club 2 sets of tickets to be auctioned off at the next meeting to benefit our Admin Fund. Bring your checkbooks for the next meeting. Club member asked if we collected yet on the bounced check from Wimpy’s auction. The answer is no. Motion to approve made by Lion Karen seconded by Lion John P. Motion carried unopposed.
Last call for 50/50 Lions Trivia questions presented with winners receiving a bag of animal crackers with Lions in them.
Winners were Lions Karen, Kerri, Doug, Scott, Jeanna, Brent, Joe and Andy.
Lion Andy-someone close to him had a negative biopsy. Lion Jeanna’s brother got to show the President of the US a new car at the Detroit Auto Show. Lion John has both Music in the Park and OSD lineups complete. Lion David is celebrating his wedding anniversary. Lion Kerri for the Packers loss and that Lion Kevin did not get beat up in Beloit for wearing Bears gear. Lion Scott for the Packers getting to play two more games than the Bears this season.
Met previous to general membership meeting today. Good meeting Next meeting is February 4th 5:15pm Kickoff party is at Fibs 3-31-16. OSD tickets go on sale 4-1-16

All booklets have been distributed. Money can be turned in any time with ticket stubs.

Lion Allison still needs to analyze data. Lions Steve and Jack were interested for their own businesses. Lion Steve said he would speak to the bank as well.
Perfect Attendance Update:
Lion Karen has first part of year tallied up if anyone is interested to see where they stand. Make up meetings counted are Executive Board, Zone Meetings, Cabinet Meetings, Conventions, and Forums.
12-13th of March at All World Machinery on Willowbrook Rd. in South Beloit. Lion Kevin got the information into LIF for the sight and hearing busses.
Lions Dick A. and Joe passed out envelopes with tickets for every member to sell. The Club makes $10 profit per dozen we sell. All communities are listed-Beloit will not participate this year. If you sell to an area not on the list be prepared to deliver these yourself. Purchases can be made online or dropped off at Bellich’s State Farm, Macktown Insurance, or the PO Box. Delivery is April 16th. We need as many as possible to leave this date open to help deliver.
Camp Lions-which was previously approved on our budget for 6 campers. Rockton REEF asked for a donation for their trivia night fundraiser. Motion was made by Lion Jeanna to match donation from last year, seconded by Lion Tami. Motion carried unopposed. Rockford Rescue Mission. The Club hasn’t donated in over 2-years. Questions to what their administrative costs are were brought up. Mention of donation we made of pancake batter after Christmas breakfast and how grateful they were was brought up. Question of if there were different levels of donations requested came up. Consensus was to ask them to set a date to come and present to the general membership if they would like a donation. RAMP has two auctions coming up and they are looking for donations. Lion Jerry W. made motion to donate 2 sets of weekend OSD packages (passes and tickets). Motion seconded by Lion Andy. Motion carried unopposed.

Lion Karen asked for a volunteer to take over scheduling rides for Lion Jerry S. Lion Brent offered to set up schedule.
