Welcome to The Rockton Lions ClubThe Rockton Lions of Rockton, IL has been serving the stateline area for over 70 years. We have many local fundraisers such as candy day, flower day, a golf play day and Old Settler's Days. The profits from these projects are funnelled directly back into our community serving the needs of other organizations and individuals, while focusing on site and sound related disabilites. We do all this while having a great time together. Our club has about 40 members with average meeting attendance over 50%. Think about joining the Rockton Lions club, or volunteering for one of our many events. Visitors are welcome to come to meetings at any time, and you will probably be surprised to find that Lions isn't what you think. Check out our new pilot program, "Rockton Cares," and let us know about someone in the community who would benefit from our assistance. *****New Event!!! Check out our new annual event! "The Josh Ryan Edward Jones Rockton Lions Club Inuagural Chili Cook-Off and Bags Tournament" Yes, we know the name is a mouthful, but that's kind of the point. Join us for a fun day of chili and bags - be a spectator, a cooker, or a player! For more details, click here. |
